TAKES HER FIGHT FROM THE RING TO THE SHELTER

Lindsay Hayward, a.k.a, Isis The Amazon, was 6 foot at age 9, and 6’9” by the age of 13. Growing up in California, she excelled at playing sports, including basketball, which earned her a University of Virginia scholarship to play for the Virginia Cavaliers.

But it wasn’t until she moved to Miami, FL to pursue a career in wrestling, modeling, and her true passion, action film acting, that her exceptional height started to pay off.

When she is not fighting in the ring, or posing in front of the camera, Lindsay likes to cuddle at home with her three rescued Boston Terriers and fostered Bulldog mix. " I rescued an English Bulldog mix, 4 month old puppy from the streets of Miami.... It is such a blessing to have the ability to save an innocent life."

It is not only Lindsay’s “unusual” height that gets her noticed all the time. Today, many charities, rescues and shelters in the Miami area admire Lindsay’s volunteer work and recognize her deep involvement raising funds for the Boston Terrier Rescue. 

This exceptionally tall woman’s crazy life may soon be the subject of a new Reality TV series.  However, her ultimate goal in life is to open an Animal Rescue Center in Miami-Dade County that caters to neglected dogs.  Of course, all of us at DogsAreOk support that .
